Install Persistence on macOS

  1. Download the .dmg for your Mac (Apple Silicon for M-series chips, Intel for older Macs).
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Persistence into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it from Applications or Spotlight and sign in — your data syncs immediately.

The first launch may ask you to confirm you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. That's macOS Gatekeeper; choose Open.

Not sure which chip you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. 'Apple M1/M2/M3/M4' means Apple Silicon.
