Install Persistence on Windows
- Download the installer (.exe), or the .msi if you prefer a standard Windows Installer package.
- Run it and follow the prompts. Persistence installs per-user, no admin rights needed.
- Open Persistence from the Start menu and sign in.
Windows SmartScreen may show 'Windows protected your PC' the first time because the build is new and independently signed. Click More info → Run anyway.

Windows FAQ
- Is Persistence in the Microsoft Store?
- Not yet. The Windows build is distributed as a direct download from GitHub releases; a Store listing may follow.
- Does it run on Windows 10?
- Yes — Windows 10 and Windows 11 on x64. The app uses the system WebView2 runtime, which Windows 11 includes and Windows 10 installs automatically if missing.
- Does my data sync between devices?
- Yes. Everything syncs through one account across web, desktop and Android.
- Are the desktop apps free?
- Yes. All apps are free to download. The Free plan covers up to 7 tasks, notes and habits; Premium lifts the limits on every platform.
